the carpets were inexplicably damp and stinky, so chic! also, can we talk about the lack of basic amenities? absolutely no kettle or fridge, how do you expect guests to live? i almost considered leaving a glowing review, but things like these absolutely ruin a stay. more attention to detail would be appreciated, not that I’m asking for much.

Convenient central location, but tricky parking
The staff were incredibly helpful, and the breakfast offered a good variety with fresh options. Waking up to such delightful choices made each morning special.
However, finding the hotel was quite a challenge due to various road closures. We were sent to a public parking area far from the hotel, and the fees added up quickly.

I was quite frustrated during my stay at B&B Hotel Aachen-City. The room I was given had a persistent weird smell, and it took several complaints before I was able to switch rooms. The initial room faced a back yard that housed trash tanks, attracting flies, which made for an unpleasant experience.

Comfortable and great location!
Had a real comfy night here. The staff were super nice and helped with my payment issue without any fuss. The nearby restaurants were perfect for grabbing dinner. Only thing was the room could’ve used a little fridge for snacks. Loved that they had special diet menus available too!

The location of this B & B made exploring Aachen a breeze. I was just a short walk from the Cathedral, which is stunning. The room was clean and cozy, just what I needed after a long day out. Breakfast had a good variety of options, which started my mornings off right. However, the bed in my room was quite soft, which made for a restless night. The staff could have been more inviting at check-in. it felt a bit rushed like they were juggling too many things at once. I also noticed a lack of places to relax after a long day. a bar or lounging area would have been nice. Overall, my stay had its highlights but also some bumps that keep me from rating it higher.

Can recommend for resting at all
Clean room, cozy atmosphere, with fast wi-fi and a fantastic breakfast variety that kick-started my day perfectly while being just minutes away from the main square and historic attractions.
Everything was exactly right.

missingWrote a review on 27 Apraccess issues
The front door access turned out to be a hassle, failing to work after hours and leaving me stranded outside for a bit—definitely not a fun way to start my trip. Also, the shower cubicle cleanliness left something to be desired, with noticeable grime. In terms of room setup, the limited number of hooks and towel rails really cramped the space, especially in a room meant for three people.
